Who is this Jesus?

I feel like this fits in perfectly to the Easter Celebration this weekend. Especially because the celebration is that of Christian roots. Even though there are so many other symbolism to it now, the Easter bunny, the egg hunt all seem to confuse everyone sometimes what Easter celebration is about.

Easter celebration is about Jesus Christ. The death and resurrection of Jesus Christ believed to be the Savior of humanity. So since Easter is really about Jesus Christ, then who is this Jesus?

The Bible has a good record of the life of Jesus Christ, His birth, the life He lived, His death and resurrection and His promise of His second coming. Contrary to what some people believe, the Bible is not fiction. The story of Christ the Savior is real and true.

Jesus Christ, He is the Son of God

Mark 1:9-11 In those days Jesus came from Nazareth of Galilee and was baptized by John in the Jordan. And when he came up out of the water, immediately he saw the heavens being torn open and the Spirit descending on him like a dove. And a voice came from heaven, “You are my beloved Son; with you I am well pleased.

Matthew 17:5 He was still speaking when, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them, and a voice from the cloud said, “This is my beloved Son, with whom I am well pleased; listen to him.”

I John 4:9 In this the love of God was made manifest among us, that God sent his only Son into the world, so that we might live through him.

Matthew 16:13-16 Now when Jesus came into the district of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, “Who do people say that the Son of Man is?” And they said, “Some say John the Baptist, others say Elijah, and others Jeremiah or one of the prophets.” He said to them, “But who do you say that I am?” Simon Peter replied, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.”

Jesus Christ, He is the Savior of all mankind

John 3:14 And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, so must the Son of Man be lifted up, that whoever believes in him may have eternal life.

Matt 1:21 She will bear a son, and you shall call his name Jesus, for he will save his people from their sins.”

Luke 19:10 For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost.”

I Cor 15:22 For as in Adam all die, so also in Christ shall all be made alive.

Jesus Christ, He is the sacrifice for sin

I John 4:10 In this is love, not that we have loved God but that he loved us and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.

I Cor 15:3-4, 21-22 For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received: that Christ died for our sins in accordance with the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day in accordance with the Scriptures

For as by a man came death, by a man has come also the resurrection of the dead. For as in Adam all die, so also in Christ shall all be made alive.

Jesus Christ He is the light of the world

John 1:4-5 In him was life, and the life was the light of men. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.

John 8:12 Again Jesus spoke to them, saying, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”

Jesus Christ, He is the way to God the Father

John 14:6 Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.

Acts 4:12 And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.”

I Timothy 2:5-6 (ERV) For there is one God, and there is only one way that people can reach God. That way is through Christ Jesus, who as a man gave himself to pay for everyone to be free. This is the message that was given to us at just the right time.

Jesus Christ, He is our High Priest

Hebrews 6:20 where Jesus has gone as a forerunner on our behalf, having become a high priest forever after the order of Melchizedek.

Hebrews 4:15-16 For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but one who in every respect has been tempted as we are, yet without sin. Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.

Jesus Christ He is inviting you to COME

I John 5:10 Whoever believes in the Son of God has the testimony in himself. Whoever does not believe God has made him a liar, because he has not believed in the testimony that God has borne concerning his Son.

Romans 10:9-11,13 because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved. For the Scripture says, “Everyone who believes in him will not be put to shame.” …For “everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved”.

John 1:12-13 But to all who did receive him, who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God, who were born, not of blood nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man, but of God.

Jesus Christ wants you to experience the NEW LIFE here on earth and hereafter, eternal life. I hope you will accept His invitation today. Revelations 3:20 Behold I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me.

He is Risen! He is the Author of Life! Jesus Christ the Savior of the world.
